Thank you for keeping us informed of the situation in Jacmel. We are praying for our friends who live there – Pastor Joseph Belizaire and his wife, Suzette. He is Pastor of The Evangelical Baptist Church of the Orange Grove. It is on a dirt road near the airport. I will also pray that you will hear good news of your student who is missing.

Thank you for using your skills as filmmakers to document the damage in Jacmel. My husband lived there in 59, when his father was chief engineer on the pier, and so, during this crisis, his focus has been primarily on the well-being of Jacmel. If there is anything people in the states need to know about Jacmel — how best to get aid or supplies to you (aside from what Red Cross and others are trying desperately to do), how things are there, let us know. We will be watching your site for any new information. Good luck to you and all Jacmel from some Americans who love your city.

The world has not forgotten your country in time of great need.

Doctors and Volunteers are on the way now to help with this terrible disaster with ample distributions of medical, food and water is on the way.
The world grieves with this distress caused by the earthquake.
