    In the first days after the earthquake a Cine Institute instructor who was in New York was interviwed on the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting System), this was how I first found out about the film school. Since then the film school has been featured on several CBC radio and tv news programs. The Canadian navy has arrived in Jacmel and I feel that as a Canadian I have a connection to Jacmel and the film school. Haiti is constantly on the news and so beleive that you have not been forgotten and people are doing what they can to assist you. I hope the relief efforts on the ground become more efficient and that you all remain safe.

    Nice to see the Canadian Troops (Shoulder patches) on the scene, now if we could only move the politicians to move with the same alacrity it would have helped a lot more. Our DART teams were ready to go 12hours after the quake but the only information I have heard is that they did not arrive on scene till 5-7days later.
