Heartbreaking images …and to think that billions of dollars donated by caring people from all over the world is not getting to those who need it is very disturbing indeed . Keep up the good work Cine Institute . We need the world to see your work and get the information out there . I’m so proud of all of you .Peace and love to you.

Thank you for sharing this sad but realistic view of what is occurring in Haiti. Having just got back from a week volunteering there, it is necessary for the world to see the realities of what is taking place.

What an incredible inspiration, that in the devastation and destruction of what has happened that there are people dedicate to cultivating the arts, and making it possible for the rest of the world to experience.

    Thank you!

  3. [...] We are proud to announce that our student’s documentary about life in a Haitian refugee camp will premiere at IDFA in Amsterdam next month. It’s considered one of the leading documentary festivals in the world. This collective film was made by a group of amazing students who lived for months in a camp amongst thousands of people displaced by the earthquake. See trailer here [...]

    Hi,

Thank you so much for making this film! I spent the summer working in this camp and really feel for the people there. I know that the camp has been broken down since I was there, but no one should have to live under those conditions. People should be educated and see how other are forced to live! Thank you again!

Beautiful, sad, inspirational, reality – and seeing it through the eyes of the children makes it
even more important that the world see and experience this documentary and act in any way they can, to help bring change
to Haiti. When it comes to New York, I’ll be in the audience.
All the Best and keep on making movies.
    Thanks you!

Dear friends, I am so impressed by the good work you are doing! I was working at Trinite in 2007…so I know the Jacmel of old…I want to show this and any other film you produce here in Berlin, if you’ll allow me…I plan to found a ‘club’ here to raise money and awareness about Haiti in Germany.

Please, know that you are not forgotten, no, you in Haiti are in my life every day, and there are many people here in Germany – and in Canada -without the means to connect and state their concern about your lives in Haiti, but they pray for you and often give money to help… One day I plan to come and see you in Jacmel… All the Best and Most Beautiful Energies to you all !!!
